conseguente amplificazione dello spessore di truciolo) in corrispondenza delle curve del percorso utensile. Dobbiamo considerare che la macchina impone la velocit\u00e0 di avanzamento dell\u2019asse dell\u2019utensile, che \u00e8 anche l\u2019asse del mandrino. Se il raggio dell\u2019utensile \u00e8 troppo simile al raggio del pezzo, il centro dell\u2019utensile deve seguire una curva con un raggio ridotto pari a <span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><i>D<\/i><sub>vf<\/sub>\/2<\/span> (vedi grafico successivo).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">A questo punto, se chiediamo alla macchina di mantenere costante la velocit\u00e0 di avanzamento (come \u00e8 ragionevole in generale), lo far\u00e0 se la sua performance in termini di accelerazione \u00e8 sufficiente. Come detto, i centri di microfresatura hanno una buona performance dinamica, cos\u00ec potrebbero essere in grado di assolvere al compito. Ma il problema \u00e8 legato al fatto che il raggio utensile amplifica l&#8217;avanzamento alla periferia dell&#8217;utensile creando il rischio di superare la resistenza statica dell&#8217;utensile sotto la forza di taglio.
